I could'nt stop reading this. I didn't want it to end. This took me back to High School, you totally captured the essance of teenage hood. The pressures, heart ach, hurt it all took me back. I espically like that it was from a males point of view sometimes society tends to forget men have feelings too as they are often labled "the bad guy".
I really appreciate the male perspective of a teenager in high-school. This was a very deep pieces. I realized we all dealt with forms of insecurities and how it can motivate our actions. Thank you for writing this.

Found it difficult to get past all the self aggrandizing stories about what a ladies man and heartthrob the author was in high school. ‘Cause the average tenth grader has girls trying to grab their ‘manhood’?!? Ugh. So out of touch.
