HERE WE GO

I’m back! Did you miss me?

For those of you who are new to Love & Lit, let’s take a quick trip down memory lane.

Love & Literature started in January of 2021. I wrote a five-part, short story series titled My Failures as a Father and it quickly became one of my most popular stories. It was supposed to end there, but then my friend and creative partner said we should keep it going.

For the next year, we connected with writers from all over the world who shared their stories on our platform. They wrote about addiction and family drama, about sex and illness, about being adopted, running away, finding love and losing hope. All of these stories were shared weekly and we created a beautiful community of writers and readers who bonded around the journey of these narratives.

Life happens, so we took a break. But we never stopped getting messages from readers about when we’ll be bringing it back. We still get new subscribers every week despite not putting out a story for months. This is what happens when you build something special — no one wants to see it go away.

So here we are, back again, ready to go for another year. I’ll be kicking off this round of stories again just like I did the first time around. Starting next week, I’ll take you into the holidays with deeply intimate moments of my life. No spoilers, but if you liked My Failures as a Father, you’ll be sure to love this next round of stories.

OK, I’ll give you a small spoiler. The title of my story next week will be I Need to Feel…Something.
